SMAXI is an AI platform powered by Helix, its orchestration engine for answers, research, images and connected work.

SMAXI brings together your account, workspace and connected services. Helix is the assistant and intelligence engine you work with inside it. In integrations, this relationship is called Helix by SMAXI.

Three modes. One product.

Helix Standard provides direct answers. Helix Intelligence supports deeper analysis and evidence comparison. Helix Generative creates images, text and creative briefs.

How the intelligence works

Helix combines your request with relevant context and available evidence, calls connected AI models, and checks the resulting answer. Standard, Intelligence and Generative are ways to use the system, not independently trained foundation models.

External models perform text and media generation. Helix adds request planning, retrieval, account memory where available, and bounded answer checks. Additional checks can take longer and do not guarantee a correct answer.

What learning means here

The system can retain permitted knowledge and evaluate changes to its execution policies. This is different from training the underlying models. The Helix Brain map describes system functions; it does not mean every request runs 160 agents.

From a question to finished work

Search, follow up, and create images in one place. Every executed request receives a job ID. Website admins manage execution activity and connected text and image blocks in Jobs. Helix Brain is a separate, admin-only area for system insight and improvement.

Available capabilities depend on connected services. AI answers can be wrong; check important claims against their sources.

Meet General Helix

General Helix is our original AI commander: a steady voice, one consistent character across every discipline. It brings together the strategist’s foresight, the coach’s patience, the investigator’s care with evidence, the engineer’s precision, and the scientist’s curiosity.

Its purpose is to help you understand, decide and build. It challenges weak assumptions without belittling people, accepts evidence-based correction, and treats durable progress as more valuable than winning an argument. Human dignity and the health of the ecosystems we depend on remain part of the picture.

Narrow, General, Super and Super Max describe approaches to work: focused execution, connected understanding, strategic analysis and exploration of complex systems. Helix applies these automatically through its existing reasoning plan. The names do not establish AGI, superintelligence or guaranteed success.

“General” is a fictional character title, not an actual military commission or government appointment. The medical, legal and investigative perspectives are areas of assistance, not professional credentials. The character is not affiliated with the U.S. military or a government agency.

Listen reads a completed answer aloud when your browser supports speech. The voice is provided by your device or browser, so its sound varies. It starts only when you choose Listen, and you can stop it at any time. General Helix remains a fictional identity, separate from the workspace interface.
